Sandra Lethem Yeo’s formal art training began when her parents enrolled her in painting classes at the age of ten. By the time she was a teenager she had converted her bedroom into her first “studio”. She attended the Kansas City Art Institute and has studied with numerous teachers. Her work includes abstract, realistic and impressionistic paintings. “I enjoy creating paintings that a collector can enjoy for many years. Each painting tells a story, but the story is interpretive, it unfolds to the viewer from their own perspective.” Yeo’s work hangs in private and corporate collections, and in a permanent collection at the Richardson Public Library.

Sandra is also a published author. Her work has appeared in the Dallas Morning News, The Senior Voice, Travel Host Magazine, Highlights for Children and many other regional and national publications. She is the 2006 winner of the Plano Public Library’s Adult Poetry Contest.
