Accessibility

In Compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the facilities at Irving Arts Center are fully accessible to persons who are disabled. Each theater is equipped with accessible seating. There is a large family restroom in the Carpenter lobby adjacent to the elevator and Box Office.

Irving Arts Center has assistive listening devices that are available to patrons for performances, meetings and events held in Carpenter Hall, Dupree Theater, the meeting rooms and Suite 200. To access a receiver, please visit the Box Office prior to the show.  For meetings and events outside the theaters, Patrons Services staff on duty can assist. There is no charge for the use of these receivers. Patrons will be asked to surrender a Driver’s License or a state issued ID as deposit and to choose between headphones, a single ear bud or an induction loop. Following the event the patron’s Driver’s License or state issued ID is returned in exchange for the equipment.
