Ever dreamt of being on stage?  This is your chance!

Under the artistic Direction of Larry Keigwin, KEIGWIN + COMPANY comes to Irving for a two-week COMMUNITY RESIDENCY starting Monday, September 18. Inspired by Maurice Ravel’s iconic score, a cast drawn from more than 50 members of the community will perform a large-scale dance celebration, Bolero Texas, as part of an evening-length program, performed by KEIGWIN + COMPANY scheduled for Saturday, September 30 at 7:30 pm.  Tickets on sale now!

Please join us in creating Bolero Texas! 

WHAT:  Bolero Texas is a 15 minute dance celebrating North Texas. Think of it as a highly choreographed flash mob.

WHEN:  We will rehearse and create together over the next two weeks. On September 30th, you will be featured in the world premiere performance of Bolero Texas!

Rehearsals for the creation of “Bolero Texas” will take place in the evenings over the course of the next two weeks. No prior dance training is required!

The goal is to engage a truly diverse group, with all segments and ages of the population represented.  Under Keigwin’s guidance, the workshop group will create movement to Ravel’s Bolero that is uniquely Irving and positively Texas.
