Indian Folk Art: Celebrating the Culture and Heritage of India

Selections from the Indian Folk Art exhibition, curated by Deepa Koshaley, are now on display in the Focus Gallery at Irving Arts Center, March 4-26.  The exhibition showcases the work of 10 artists and includes artwork of various traditional styles, featuring embroidery and examples of folk and tribal art (Madhubani painting and Gond art).  Participating artists are Vidisha Bajpai, Pallavi Moharir, Jayshree Bihari, Monika Dogra, Navneeta Khemka, Avli Dalal, Deepa Koshaley, Nalina Priya Ravindran, Sangeeta Kumari and Pierce Baggett.

Gallery Hours:
Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00-5:00 p.m.
