The Smithsonian Channel’s documentary “The Obama Years: The Power of Words” will be screened at Irving Arts Center’s Dupree Theater. The presentation includes the unveiling of the United States Postal Service 2018 Black Heritage Stamp, a performance by dancers from Carolyn’s Danceland from Monroe, LA, and in conjunction with the exhibition, This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement, a panel presentation, featuring four of the five living photographers whose work is included in the exhibition.
