Accented with hardwood floors and dimmable lighting, Suite 200 has a separate entrance and looks out onto a Courtyard with a twinkling canopy of lights. Our prep areas and en suite ice machine will simplify your caterer’s work and make your event . . . a piece of cake!

Suite 200
Suite 200 can accommodate a maximum of 200 guests seated at tables (no dance floor), 150 seated guests with a dance floor or stage, or 300 guests stand-up style. Double doors open to the Main Gallery.

Interior Courtyard
The Courtyard is not available for rental as an individual space; however, it is included as part of any Suite 200 rental.
When you rent Suite 200 for an event, the use of the courtyard is included. The Courtyard can be accessed from the Main Gallery, Annex and Suite 200. A beautiful fountain is the center of the Courtyard, which also features a canopy of white lights at night. (capacity 50)

The Annex
This L-shaped space is available as a tandem rental with Suite 200 or as a separate space. Adjacent to Suite 200 and accessible through double glass doors, it makes a great lounge, buffet area or holding room for large events.

Dupree and Carpenter Theatre Lobbies
The art-filled lobbies make great luncheon venues for groups of 75 or less. Each opens to an outdoor courtyard weather permitting.

Is alcohol allowed?

Yes! Beer, wine and champagne may be served by TABC licensed servers, however City of Irving does not allow hard liquor service under any circumstances. The renting client is responsible for upholding all laws and statutes concerning the serving of alcohol. Alcoholic beverages may not be sold nor may donations, including voluntary contribution or tip jars, be used when alcohol is served. Kegs and margarita machines are not permitted. All alcoholic beverages must be served by a licensed TABC server in a professional uniform. The server’s license must be sent to IAC booking staff two weeks prior to the event. Event guests or participants may not be used as servers of alcohol. Self-service bars are prohibited. Alcohol will be removed to a secure location by a Patron Services representative when not under the supervision of a TABC server.

Wedding Ceremonies

The Sculpture Garden with its bubbling waterfall can become an exquisite backdrop for your vows and can accommodate up to 150 guests. From intimate nuptials to larger ceremonies, the IAC has a wedding package to fit your needs.

Catering Options

A licensed and insured caterer must provide all food for events open to the public or ticketed, even if no admission is charged. Users are solely responsible for providing all required permits and licenses. Private events do not require a catering permit. Please contact the Booking Coordinator for details.
