Carpenter Hall

The stunning 713-seat Carpenter Hall combines a fully-equipped theater with exquisite ambiance not often found in theaters of this capacity. The glowing glass bricks and balcony, box and main floor seating are just a few of the special touches that make this theater unique. The stage has a hydraulic pit, 36 line sets and an orchestra shell. There is a concession area and an outdoor courtyard accessible from the lobby. Carpenter Lobby area serves as additional gallery space, perfect for pre and post show receptions and features a shimmering crystal chandelier with a grand staircase.

Dupree Theater

The smaller of the two theaters at the Irving Arts Center is the Dupree Theater. With a capacity of 257, the theater is perfect for intimate experiences. The theatre has a hydraulic pit and 31 line sets.

Dupree has a separate Box Office space for use night of the event along with a concession area and lobby gallery with an adjacent courtyard.  Dupree Lobby area serves as an additional gallery space, perfect for smaller, more intimate pre and post show receptions.

 Rehearsal Hall

Irving Arts Center’s Rehearsal Hall is 36′ x 57′ square feet with a dance floor, acoustical shell ceiling, and mirrors on one wall. Ballet barres are available on request. The rehearsal hall is adjacent to both performance venues.



Box Office Services

Rentals of either theater include patron access to 24/7 internet ticketing sales in addition to regular staffed box office hours. Tues.-Sat. noon to 5 p.m. and one hour prior to the event start time.
