Sandra Lethem Yeo’s formal art training began when her parents enrolled her in painting classes at the age of ten. By the time she was a teenager she had converted her bedroom into her first “studio”. She attended the Kansas City Art Institute and has studied with numerous teachers. Her work includes representational and abstract oil and acrylic paintings. “I enjoy creating paintings that can be enjoyed for many years. Each painting tells a story, but the story is interpretive, it unfolds to the viewer from their own perspective.” Yeo’s work hangs in private and corporate collections.

Sandra is also a published author. Her work has appeared in the Dallas Morning News, The Senior Voice, Travel Host Magazine, Highlights for Children and many other regional and national publications. She is a 2006 and 2009 Plano Public Library’s Adult Poetry Contest winner.
