Beauty’s Only Skin Deep Movie Premiere presented by Irving Black Arts Council with No Budget Filmz & Unlimited Arts of Dallas

No Budget Filmz, in association with Unlimited Arts of Dallas and the Irving Black Arts Council, proudly present its newest feature film, Beauty’s Only Skin Deep, a contemporary adaptation inspired by the biblical story of Esther. Set in present-day society, the film follows Zerx Cease, a rising political figure whose life is thrown into turmoil when his wife, Vashti, refuses to attend a prestigious banquet.

The resulting marital conflict leads to divorce, leaving Zerx searching for a new partner. Encouraged by his closest advisors, Zerx agrees to participate in the reality television series A King Finds a Queen, where he hopes to meet the woman of his dreams. As he navigates a competition featuring ten remarkable contestants, he encounters a wide range of personalities, challenges, and unexpected situations before ultimately choosing Esther.

However, Esther carries a closely guarded secret from her past. Her cousin, Morde Kai, cautions her against revealing the truth. Determined to protect herself and those she loves, Esther keeps her secret hidden—even from her husband. When a crisis threatens her people, she is faced with a life changing decision that requires extraordinary courage. Her revelation ultimately becomes the key to saving an entire community.
