ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Each year in honor of Black History Month, the Irving Black Arts Council presents their Black History Month Exhibition. In this group show, seven talented artists – Latrice Cooper, Glenda Freeman, Desiree Griffith, Quel Hynson, Shonda L. Ross, Madison Smith, and Nii Narku Thompson – address the theme “Reflection & Inspiration.” Through a variety of artistic mediums, their art inspires historical reflection, highlighting African American perseverance and achievement.
