March to Freedom

Explore the pivotal moments of the 1965 Selma to Montgomery marches in “March to Freedom.” Featuring powerful photographs by James “Spider” Martin and the words of civil rights leader John Lewis, the exhibition captures the courage, resilience, and impact of those who fought for voting rights. Don’t miss this moving look at how collective action helped shape lasting change.

Reflection and Inspiration: Irving Black Arts Council Black History Month Exhibition

A longtime community favorite, the Irving Black Arts Council’s annual exhibition returns with the theme “Reflection and Inspiration.” Aligned with the national theme “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” the exhibition highlights both emerging and established artists whose work invites reflection, sparks conversation, and celebrates Black life and creativity. Attend the February 7 artist reception to connect with the artists and be part of the celebration.
