LSYO: 25 Years (And Counting) Presented by Lone Star Youth Orchestra

The Lone Star Youth Orchestra will conclude its 25th Anniversary Silver Season on May 15th with an hour-long program featuring Bizet’s Carmen, Suite No. 1, Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia, and Delibes’ “Le roi s’amuse.” As an added treat, the winners of the annual LSYO Concerto Competition will each be playing their pieces with the LSYO orchestra. First Place winner Aaron Bermudez will perform Chaminade’s Flute Concertino in D Major, Op. 107 and Second Place winner George Diaz will perform Mozart’s Concerto in G Major for Flute and Orchestra, KV. 313 (285c).
