The Lone Star Youth Orchestra will continue its 25th Anniversary celebration on March 6. For this special performance, they’re gonna party like its 1999! They’ve even invited LSYO alumni back for one night only to play alongside current LSYO orchestra members on the opening number. The hour-long program features Aaron Copland’s rousing “Hoe-Down” from Rodeo, Maurice Ravel’s Pavane Pour une Infante Defunte, Paul Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Camille Saint-Saëns’ Danse macabre, Op. 40, and the first movement of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 in F Major, Op. 68 “Pastoral.”
