Happy New Year! The results for the 33rd Annual Tree Decorating Competition are in!

First, second and third place winners earned cash prizes in three different categories:  Schools/School Groups; Arts & Culture Groups; and Non-Profits / Service Organizations. 

Brandenburg Elementary PTO is the winner of the 33rd Annual Tree Decorating Competition in the Schools/School Group Category with 543 votes via Facebook and in-person voting. In second place with 435 votes is The Bowie Middle School Parent Center.  And in third place, with 125 votes is Holy Family Cathlic Academy.    

The Irving Heritage Society is the winner of the 33rd Annual Tree Decorating Competition in the Arts & Culture Group with 105 votes via Facebook and in-person voting. In second place with 73 votes is the Irving Symphonic Band.  And in third place, with 68 votes is the Turf Turners Garden Club.      

The DFW Humane Society is the winner of the 33rd Annual Tree Decorating Competition in the Non-profits/Service Organizations Category with 45 votes via Facebook and in-person voting. In second place with 40 votes is the Irving Public Library.  And in third place, with 34 votes is Girl Scouts of North Texas Troops 6458 and 181.
