Free Event will Feature an Abundance of Performances, Back-Stage Tours, Exhibitions, Photo Ops, and a Concert Ticket Giveaway in Celebration of Arts & Humanities Month.

IRVING, TX Irving Arts Center will host Ovation Fest! on October 15 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The inaugural event, which will be free to attend, will showcase Irving’s vibrant arts community in celebration of Arts and Humanities Month.

The event features live musical and theatrical performances from Irving’s resident arts organizations; art-making activities; photo ops; and behind-the-scenes tours with access to stages, workshops and green rooms.

Exhibitions on display will include:

• Cultural Currency: Contemporary Art from the Riemer Collection (Main Gallery)
• Popol Vuh: The Sacred Book of the Quiché through Illustration (Dupree Lobby Gallery)
• A Trail of Marvels: Popular Fiestas of Mexico (Carpenter Hall Lobby Gallery)
• Imaginal: Works by Brynn Higgins-Stirrup (Focus Gallery)
