Second Sunday Funday – Art for all ages!

Drop-in the Second Sunday of every month from 1pm-4pm.

Irving Arts Center offers the perfect framework for adults and children to make art together in the creative atmosphere of Irving Arts Center.

Find inspiration in the gallery exhibitions, holidays and the seasons as families make art, friends and fun!

And the best part? It’s FREE!

2025 THEMES

Sept. 14 – Called to Create: Exploring Folk Art & Outsider Art
Inspired by the artists featured in the Arts Center’s exhibition Rooted Visions, transform found objects and ordinary materials into extraordinary works of art that tell your own story

Oct. 12 – Paint It!
Grab a paintbrush and go with the flow to create colorful compositions inspired by nature and your own imagination!

Nov. 9  – Sculpt It!
Enjoy an awesome exploration of the third dimension by making your own sculptural creations with clay, cardboard, and other materials.

Let’s celebrate Black History Month by making art inspired by African American artists, past and present.
