A Seat at the Table is A Remembering Black Dallas Production presented by the Irving Black Arts Council in partnership with the City of Irving and the Parks and Recreation Department. Come learn, honor and enjoy an afternoon all about Black culture and history honoring the Bear Creek Women of Excellence: Georgia Farrow, Josye Davis, Jackie Townsell, and Earlie Mae Wheeler. The event will feature a performance by the West Irving COGIC Dancers and the unveiling of the USPS Black Heritage Month stamp. A Soul Food Truck Reception will be held in the parking lot so come hungry and enjoy delicious soul food.
