Irving Arts Center celebrates the holidays with its 31st Annual Holiday Tree Decorating Competition, Santa Saturdays and more great holiday family fun.

A Holiday tradition going on three decades returns to Irving Arts Center as the galleries are transformed into a wonderland of spectacularly decorated Christmas Trees and student artwork. Finding inspiration in this year’s theme, “All is Bright: A Season of Lights” various community groups and schools will put their decorated trees on display
You can see them in person Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 PM. For virtual viewing and voting, log on to Irving Arts Center’s Facebook page. Those with the most “likes” will receive a cash prize!

Mark your calendars for Santa Saturdays: December 3, 10 and 17.
Drop in between 2 and 4 PM to make holiday cards and crafts and visit with Santa. Don’t forget your camera!

JumpstART Stories and Art: Winter Animals

Storytime and art projects are offered offered the first Thursday of each month. The theme for this month’s JumpstART is “Winter Animals” with stories and art inspired by some of our favorite winter animals.
Second Sunday Funday: The Art of The Holidays!
December 10 from 1-4PM
Find your inner artist and celebrate the season with creative arts and crafts activities for the whole family. Teens can participate in an open art studio held during the same timeframe.
